A night of dressing up, letting hair down, dancing to the best party classics, experiencing unique new talent and above all - supporting a cause that could save the greatest rainforest on earth… maybe much more.
One of our stage acts is a girl rock trio from London, the Cherry Brakewells! These girls wield electric guitars, drums and very sexy... voices that belt out music largely influenced by the late sixties and early seventies Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream and Led Zeppelin. They’ve already released a debut album and we think they’re on the cusp of huge success. We’re so grateful that they’ve agreed to come down and show their support for this important cause. Our special guest DJ for the night is Rob Thomas, a legendary funky and soulful house DJ and very good friend of everyone at loveDJ. Rob has promised us 100% pure FUNK, and with tracks from James Brown and Aretha Franklin lined up for this special occasion, we foresee a load of butt-grinding antics on the dancefloor. With loveDJ turning 3 on the 2nd of December and the hope to have brought our audiences some special memories and great dance music over the years, the plan is for the loveDJ guys to be out in full force to give you a very special 3 hour set. Mike Tours, Pete Rypstra, Sam Ho and David James will be ‘giving it large’ with as many all time classic club tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunes as we can fit in to the evening. Shotgun playing ‘You’ve got the love’!!
