Sam is a London based musician/producer/DJ. Having taught himself how to play the guitar in his early teens, he played in several bands until his late teens when he first discovered electronic music. Becoming frustrated with guitar music and the 'rock convention', he found that the freedom and space that electronic music allows musicians to explore, offered him a truly limitless landscape in which to be creative. Having previously disregarded electronic music as "boring and repetitive", he soon found himself selling his guitar for a pair of rusty turntables and his first few vinyls. A few years later he naturally progressed to production and invested in some production equipment.
Having a keen ear for production and using his accumulated muscial knowledge, he has found success in a relativley short space of time with his first production - a rather cheeky remake of Jose Gonzalez' - "Crosses", now released as "Sam Ho - Circles [loveDJ Records]" receiving support from Judge Jules, Agnelli and Nelson, Lee Haslam, Ronski Speed, Mark Loverush, Phil Reynolds, Paul Webster, Aly and Fila, Armin Van Buuren and many more.
Judge Jules was particulary supportive playing it on his "Saturday Night Warm up" on BBC Radio 1 five weeks in a row, naming it his "Bangin' Tried and Tested" tune of the week and one time playlisting it twice on the one show - a rare feat indeed.
Sam was swiftly approached by loverushUK! to remix loverush feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw on vocals. With support from Agnelli and Nelson, Ronski Speed, Darren Tate, Dale Corderoy and Big Al (Kiss FM), the track is further testimony that trance is live and kicking on the south bank of The River Thames.
